Biomox

Pregnancy & lactation
 When antibiotic therapy is required during pregnancy, Amoxycillin may be considered appropriate, as it has show no teratogenic effects. - It may be given during lactation with taking in mind that trace quantities can be detected in breast milk.
  Posology and method of administration :
 Adults .
- Mild infections : 250 mg every 8 hours .
 - Moderate to severe infections : 500 mg every 8 hours.
 - Very severe infections :1000 mg every 8 hours .

 Children up to 10 years :
-          125 to 250 mg every 8 hours .
-           Under 20 kg body-weight : - 20 to 40 mg / kg daily in 3 divided doses,

Overdosage:
 In case of overdosage G.I.T effects may occur such as nausea, vomiting & diarrhea Amoxycillin may be removed from circulation by haemodialysis.

  Method of reconstitution :
To reconstitute the dry powder for suspension : Add water to the bottle in 2 portions to the mark & shake well after each addition. The reconstituted formulation is stable for 7 days - Shake well before use. _ To reconstitute the vial : - - - For IM injection, the powder is dissolved in 2-3 ml of water for injection. - For IV injection, the powder is dissolved in 5-10 ml of water for injection. - Reconstituted solutions for IV or IM should be used immediately or within 2 hours if kept at room temperature or within 24 hours if kept at SC. 
Storage :
 - Keep at temperature not exceeding 30C. - Keep out of reach of children

 Box of 8,12,16,20,100,500 ,1000 capsules. Bottle of powder for oral susp. 80,100 ml. Box of one vial. Box of 50 vials


BABY RELIEF

INDICATIONS:
Painful inflammatory disorders such as otitis, pharyngitis and tonsillitis.
• Painful post-traumatic and postoperative inflammation and swelling.
 • Conditions associated with fever.
• Juvenile arthritis and other chronic rheumatic disorders.

DOSAGE:
 Children : should be given 0.5-2 mg/kg body weight daily in 2-3 divided doses according to the severity of the condition. In case of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis the dose can be increased to 3 mg/kg body weight daily in 2-3 divided doses. SIDE

EFFECTS:
BABY RELIEF 25 suppositories are well tolerated. The low dosage of BABY RELIEF 25 suppositories precludes the incidence of any possible side effects.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
-          Hypersensitivity to diclofenac sodium. - Not to be used for children less than 6 years

Augmentin

Indications
 AUGMENTIN is an antibiotic agent with a notably broad spectr of activity against the commonly occurring bacterial pathogens general practice and hospital. The B-lactamase inhibitory actioclavulanate extends the spectrum of amoxicillin to embrace a wider range of organisms, including many resistant to other p-lactam antibiotics. AUGMENT1N 1.0 gm tablet for twice daily dosing, are indicate for short-term treatment of bacterial infections at the following sites: Upper respiratory tract infections (including ENT) e.g. tonsillit sinusitis, otitis media. Lower respiratory tract infections e.g. acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, lobar and bronchopneumonia. Genito-urinary tract infections e.g. cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis. Skin and soft tissue infections, e.g. boils, abscesses. celluliti! wound infections. Bone and joint infections e.g. osteomyelitis.   Dental infections e.g. dentoalveolar abscess Other infections e.g. septic abortion, puerperal sepsis,   intra-abdominal sepsis.   A comprehensive list of susceptible organisms is provided Pharmacodynamics section.
Dosage and Administration
Usual dosages for the treatment of infection
Adults and children over 12 years' Severe infections One AUGMENTIN 1 g tablet twice

Acetylcistein

Indications:
- Disorders of the respiratory tract associated with excessive viscous mucous such as in bronchitis, pneumonia, asthma, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis and in the routine cleansing of tracheostomies. - Secretory otitis media ( glue ear). - Chronic sinusitis.
 - Mucoviscidosis.
 - Manifestations associated with smoking & exposure to other irritant inhalers.

Side effects
 Nausea, vomiting, heart burn and diarrhea have been rarely reported.
Dosage:
 Dissolve the content of the sachet in half glass of water to get a palatable effervescent solution and drink immediately. Adults : One sachet three times daily. Children : 1/2 sachet three times daily.

Amofluxin

INDICATIONS:
 Amofluxin  as a broad spectrum antibiotic acting on both Gram-positive and Grain-negative bacteria including penicillinase producing Staphylococci and anaerobic bacteria is indieatcd for the treatment of such cases
 Respiratory tract infections
Skin and soft  tissue infections.
Ear, Nose and throat infections.
Pelvic infections.
Urinary tract infections.
Mouth infections .
Gastro-intestinal infections .
Bones and joints infections.
Biliary-tract infection.
Septicaemia .
Surgical prophylaxis.
Endocarditis

SIDE EFFECTS:
Generally _Amofluxin is well tolerated and the incidence of side effects as with other pcnicillins is usually mild and transient including diarrhoea and skin rash

CONTRAINDICATIONS
 History of hypersensitivity to penicillins or cephalosporin.
