Cyrinol

Indications
 Cyrinol is indicated for the relief of non productive cough and upper respiratory symptoms associated with allergy and common cold.

Contraindications
• Hypersensitivity to any of the constituents

Side effects
 Cyrinol may causes nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, tachycardia and dry mouth

Pregnancy and Lactation
Cyrinol is contraindicated in both pregnancy and lactation

Instructions to patients
 Keep the bottle out of reach of children and store at room temperature

Dosage
 Adults :
1-2 teaspoonfuls 3-4 times daily.
 Children :
Above 6 years: 1 teaspoonful 3-4 times daily.
 3-6 years : 1/2 teaspoonful 3-4 times daily.

How supplied
Bottles of 60 ml or 120 ml

Citrocid magnesium plus

Indications & Usage:
For prevention of hyperoxaluria and as mild laxative

Contra - Indications:
This drug is contraindicated in some cases of impaired renal functions

Side Effects :
Hypermagnesaernia is uncommon except In the presence of renal impairment.
- Sensory neuropathy may be observed in individuals consuming more than 200 mg of pyridoxine daily to very tong periods.
- Citrocid  magnesium plus may cause G.1 irritation , and watery diarrhea


Dosage & Administration:
 One packet to be dissolved in half glass of water and taken during effervescing . two times daily or as prescribed by the physician.

Packing: 10 or 12 packets each of 5g.

Storage
 Store below 300 C . and R.H below 70 %

Ciprofloxacin

Indications:
Ciprofloxacin is indicated for the treatment of:
Lower respiratory tract infections caused by E. cloacae, E. coli. H. influenza. K. pneumonia , P. mirabilis, and Ps aeruginonsa.
• Urinary tract infections, prostitutes and gonococcal  urethritis
• Skin and soft-tissue infections caused by Citrobacter freundll   E. cloacae. E coli K. pneurnoniae, morganella morgail, P mirabilis, P vulgaris. Providencia  stuartil . Ps aerugionsa, Staphylococcus.aureus
 (including methicillin • resistant strains) and S epidermidis.
- Bone (including joints) infections caused by Enterobacter cloacae. Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Serratia  marcescens and Staphylococci. Infectious diarrhea caused by Campylobacter jejuni. Enterotoxaenia E. coli Shigella flexneri  and S. sonnei
CIPROFLOXACIN and RIFAMPIN should profitably be given concurrently for the treatment of complicated Staphylococcal infections in the lungs.
CIPROFLOXACIN is also used for treating and reducing the incidence of infections in neutropenic patients and in reducing meningococcal and typhoid carner states.

 Dosage and administration: Tablets
The presence of food in the stomach may daisy absorption of CIPROFLOXACIN. However. the overall absorption is not affected. therefore C/PROFLOXACIN tablets may be taken with meals or on an empty stomach CIPROFLOXACIN tablets Should be given with a full glass of water.
• The duration of treatment depends upon the severity of infection. Generally. CIPROFLOXACIN should be continued for at least 2 days after the signs and symptoms of infection have disappeared.
 - The usual duration is 7 to 14 days. Bone and Joint infections may require treatment for 4 to 6 weeks or longer.
 • Adults with impaired renal function may require a reduction in dose
Contra-indications:
Allergy to CIPROFLOXACIN Of other quinolones

CURISAFE

Indications:
 CURISAFE is indicated in the treatment of infections caused by Cefadroxil-susceptible strains of Gram-positive Pathogens including .lactamase and non -laclomase Producing Staphylococcl  -hemolytic streptococci.Streplococcus pneumonia," and Streptococcus pyogenes. It Is also effective against several Gram-negative bacteria as follows-. • Infections of the Respiratory Tract, sinusitis  otitis media  tonsillitis pharyngitis  laryngitis bronchitis bronchopneumonia bronchiectasis pulmonary abscess empyema and pleurisy
 infections of the Skin and Soft tissues
infected traumatic and posteperative wounds.
 • Infections of the Urfnery Tract: pyalonephrills, cystitis, urethritis.
• Infections of the Genital Tract In Adults : prostatitis . orchitis, epididymo orehitis, adnexities endometritis and other genital infections
• Miscellaneous Infections: osteomyelitis. septic arthritis, intra-abdominal Infections and dental infections.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Curisafe is acid stable and may be administered orally regard to meals. administration with food may be helpful in diminishing potential gastrointestinal complaints occasionally associated with Oral Cephalosporin therapy.
 ADULTS: Urinary Tract Infection: for uncomplicated lower urinary tract infection (i.e..cystitis) the usual dosage is 1 or 29 per day in single dose or two equally divided doses. For all other urinary  tract infection the usual dosage is 2 g per day in two equally divided doses. Skin and skin structure infections: for skin and skin structure infections the usual dosage is 1 g per day in a single dose or two equally divided doses. Pharyngitis and Tonsillitis: due to group A beta-hemolytic streptococcal pharyngitis and tone/141s - 1 g per day In or a single dose two equally divided i doses for at least ten days upper and lower respiratory tract Infections: for mild infections the usual dosage is 1 g per day in two equally divided doses. Moderato to saver infections the recommended dosage is 1 g to 29 daily in two equally divided doses. Children: the recommended dosage for children is 25 to 50 mg/kg/day in two equally divided doses (every 12 hours) as indicated. For pharyngitis, tonsillitis and impetigo the recommended daily dosage my be administrated as single dose or in boo equally divided doses (every 12 hours)

Side Effects: CURISAFE is safe and well-tolerated. CURISAFE might cause GI disturbances including nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea. Less common side effects include urticaria, skin rash. angioneurotic edema and transient leucopenia.
Pregnancy and Lactation :
 Preparations containing cephaiesporins are used during pregnancy and lactation only if clearly indicated

Combifloxin

Indications:
Combifloxin is indicated in the treatment of a wide range of infections such as:
I-Respiratory Tract infections:
 - Bronchitis - Pneumonia – Emphysema
 2- Ear, Nose and Throat infection:-
  Otitis Media - Sinusitis - Tonsillitis - Pharyngitis
3- Gastro- Intestinal Tract Infections:
 - Enteritis - Typhoid & Paratyphoid fever - Cholecystitis –
 4-titirto genital Tract Infections
 - Cystitis - Pyelonephritis - Prostatitis -Gonorrhea
5- Skin and Soft- Tissue Infections:
-Boils -Abscesses -Carbuncles - Cellulitis -Post-Operative wound infections - Intra abdominal sepsis
6-Bone infections:
-Osteomyelitis -Septic arthritis
7-Other infections:
-Septicaemia -Endocarditis -Peritonitis - Billiary tract infections

Dosage Administration:
 Adults: 250-1000 mg every6-8 hours
Contraindications:
 Patients with known hypersensitivity to penicillin

Side effects:
 As with other penicillin, side effects are usually mild and transient and they are limited to diarrhea, indigestion and skin rashes.

Precautions:
 In patients with sever renal impairment, dose should be reduced
