Indications
*Aciloc
granules
is indicated in short-term treatment and maintenance therapy of:
-
Active duodenal ulcers
- Benign gastric ulcers
-
Postoperative ulcers
-
Reflux oesophagitis
-
Zollinger —Ellison Syndrome
*Aciloc granules is also indicated
as a prophylaxis of gastrointestinal hemorrhage from stress ulceration in seriously ill patients.
*Aciloc granules is effectively
indicated for fast relief of hyperacidity and heartburn.
Side
Effects:
Hypersensitivity
reactions; urticaria and bronchospasm, have been noticed rarely.
Headache and dizziness have been reported in very
small proportion of patients.
Contraindications:
Aciloc granules is
contraindicated in patients known to have hypersensitivity to Ranitidine.
Dosage:

Maintenance
of duodenal and gastric ulcers healing; 150 mg (one sachet) at bed time.
·
Erosive
oesophagitis: 150 mg (one sachet) four times daily.
·
For
the treatment of hyperacidity, heartburn & gastric upset; 150 mg (one
sachet) twice daily.
. Dose for patients with
impaired renal function (i.e. with Creatinine Clearance <50 ml/min.); 150 mg (one sachet) every 24 hours, the
frequency of dosing may be increased to every 12 hours or even further
with caution.
Direction
for Use:
Add the contents of one sachet to half a glass of water and drink
while effervescence.
